If we are lucky, ideally, we would hope to live for 90 plus years. Some lives are cut short, others are blessed with a long healthy life. Now, 90 years isn't that long, and time certainly seems to fly by in the blink of an eye.

In saying that, pursuing your dreams, goals and making each and everyday count is so important. Everyday that passes by, is another page gone in the book of life. We only have so many pages, before the book comes to an end.

I have adopted the saying "Building your life resume" from a podcast I listened to a few months ago. It has helped me with getting more out of my day and accomplishing the goals I set out to achieve.

Imagine yourself on your death bed, looking back on your life, is there anything right now you would regret missing out on? A trip, a vehicle, one more visit with a loved one? This is also a good exercise to evaluate how happy, content or dissatisfied with your current situation you are.

Building your life resume refers to doing as much as you can, gaining as many experiences as you can, and creating a life resume you can look back on and be proud of. One you can be at peace with, with no regrets.

A good strategy to start building your life resume is to create a daily "to do" list and make sure you finish it. When you create a list of things you need to do, accomplishing that list creates an amazing feeling of accomplishment. Doing that everyday, you are building your life resume and getting the absolute most out of your day.

Building your resume also involves family, friends and anything else you consider important in your life. Making time for grandparents, saying I love you to a loved one, putting more effort in with your friends, striking up a conversation with someone new, buying that dream car you've always wanted, and working your ass off for the career you want. etc. Now, of course, we have to be responsible and stay within our own means. You don't have to spend thousands of dollars, you can keep it as simple as making a deal with yourself to do something or get away somewhere one weekend per month, add one more experience to your resume. 1 weekend per month multiplied by 12, equals 12 new experiences guaranteed each year. Imagine you try to do something new 2-3 times per month, that is 24-36 life experiences you can slap onto your life resume. 24 times 30years equals 720 life experiences. It also feels amazing to have a lazy day and watch movies on the couch.. I hope this can inspire someone to enjoy their life even more. Positive vibes sent to all. Have a great week. Dust
